Welcome to the House

There's a particular quiet the hour before you open a door for the first time. We've felt it all week — and this morning, it finally breaks. House of Bon Temps is open.
We wanted today's note to be less about announcing and more about explaining, because a launch day is a strange thing to just watch scroll by without knowing why it matters to us.
A House, Not a Store
We could have called this a shop. We chose a house on purpose. A store sells you things. A house invites you in, remembers your name, and hopefully sends you home a little more cared for than when you arrived.
Every collection inside carries a name because every name is someone we love. Gloria Dean's Tallow is a grandmother's wisdom. Mona Lisa's Facial Oils is a mother's patience. Monét's Crown is a promise to a daughter. Johnny Bleu's Original is a brother, honored. And the Beet Cancer Collective is a whole community built from one hard season that refused to be wasted.
What We Hope You Feel Today
Not urgency. We're not going anywhere, and neither is this House. What we hope you feel is permission — to pick one small, intentional rhythm and start there. A morning facial oil. An evening tallow cream. A daily beetroot powder. A beard oil that finally treats the skin underneath, not just the hair on top.
Wellness was never about doing everything at once. It's built the same way a house is: one deliberate choice, then another, then another, until one day you look up and the whole thing is standing.
Where to Start
If you only remember one thing from today, remember this: start small, start honest, and start with whatever your life actually needs right now — not what looks best in a photo. The Wellness Foundation is our most-loved entry point if you're not sure. If you're walking through something harder, the Beet Cancer Courage Planner was built for exactly that.
Thoughtfully curated. Intentionally lived. That's not a slogan we picked for launch day — it's the whole reason this House exists.
Welcome in. We saved you a seat. Come see what we built.
